- Create an account for yourself on the registration page
at the irc.opera.com website. Make sure you enter a valid email address.
- You will receive an e-mail with a link you need to click on to confirm your newly created
account.
- Connect to IRC and log in to X with:
/msg x@services.opera.com login username password
- Claim your nickname with:
/msg NS register
Important notes:
- /msg NS set autokill on
This turns on autokill for your nickname. Whenever somebody connects to IRC with your nick,
they'll have 60 seconds to log into X or they will be disconnected.
- /msg NS set autokill off
Turns off autokill for your nickname.
