OperaNet Acceptable Use Policy
You must agree to the following rules when connected to an OperaNet
server:
- No flooding, cloning, Denial of Service attacks, mass-messaging or
mass-inviting
- No advertising
- We reserve the right to deny any user or group access to OperaNet
without prior warning or notification

- Illegal activities are strictly forbidden on the OperaNet IRC network
- We take no responsibility for damage to your system or equipment while
connected to the network

- No fake user@host information

- You will not attempt to gain access to restricted channels that are
protected by channel keys and/or are not intended to be accessed by the
public
Rules for the official Opera channels:
#opera - General Opera channel
#lounge - My Opera Lounge channel
- Abuse, advertising, flaming, etc. is not tolerated
- Channel operators can restrict channel access for any user or group to
the channels, if he/she finds it necessary
- Although we will work to keep objectionable material outside the
channels, channel operators may not be around at all times, and Opera
Software ASA is not responsible for the actions of individual users in the
official channels
Rules for other channels:
- Opera Software ASA is not responsible for the contents of, or the
actions of users in unofficial channels
- We may place any restriction on any unofficial channel on the OperaNet
IRC network
